Mr. McDonald, a proud native of Rock Hill, South Carolina, has roots that run deep across our region. Raised amidst the rich tapestry of Chester, Chesterfield, Fairfield, and Lancaster Counties, Mr. McDonald brings a profound understanding of our community's dynamics and aspirations.

During his academic journey at Clemson University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in political science, Mr. McDonald distinguished himself by specializing in behavioral and developmental economics. Complemented by years of practical experience in business development, sales, finance, research, and law, equips him with a unique perspective and skill set to navigate the complexities of economic development.

In assuming the role of Project Manager for Fairfield County Economic Development, Mr. McDonald embodies a vision of prosperity and inclusivity. With a keen eye for innovation and a steadfast commitment to excellence, he stands poised to collaborate with stakeholders across the county, steering us towards a future marked by economic vitality and sustainability.
