Fairfield County Economic Development Hosts Annual Industry Appreciation Dinner

Last week, Fairfield County held its annual Industry Appreciation Event, with this year’s theme, "Attitude and Altitude: Fairfield’s Ascent has no Ceiling." The theme spotlighted the exciting developments at our county airport, showcasing its growing role as a local asset for business and travel.

The event was an opportunity to express our gratitude to the industries that have chosen Fairfield County as their home. In addition to showing appreciation, we connected our industries with a variety of valuable resources available to them, further enhancing the county’s economic environment.

The event welcomed a distinguished group of attendees, including elected officials, state agency representatives, industry leaders, and service providers. These gatherings foster conversations that lead to greater collaboration, innovation, and economic security for our region.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Airport Director Denise Bryant for hosting us at the airport and to our building maintenance staff for their hard work in setting up and breaking down the event. Additionally, we are grateful to the Central SC Alliance and Element Electronics for their sponsorship and support in making this event a success.

Since this time last year, Fairfield County has announced $137 million in new capital investment and 210 new jobs, reflecting the continued confidence industries have in the county’s workforce, infrastructure, and leadership. Events like this celebration reaffirm Fairfield County’s commitment to supporting its existing industries while positioning the community for even greater growth in the years ahead.
